Family :)

I was just eating these Wheatable nut crisp crackers and it took me back to one of my favorite memories in the last couple months. My sister, Jennifer and I drove home for Easter and on that Saturday we went to Oliver Winery in Bloomington, IN. After doing a wine tasting and feeling a bit tipsy my parents bought a bottle of wine and we sat on the back patio at the winery eating these crackers and cheese, drinking wine and chatting away. This memory makes me smile every time. I love my family and I wish I could spend more time with them. At times I really do hate living 9 hours away from home.

Here is the only picture we took that day. I had the wine tasting lady take it with my phone and she cropped it way too close, but I love it. My family minus one (miss you Christie!)

Justin and Allison's Engagements

Justin and Allison brought the coolest prop ever! They showed up to the shoot in a fire truck. You know, that's how they roll. The day was absolutely perfect. We had great weather and a they picked a really great location. Justin and Allison were so fun and photogenic! I have such cool clients. I'm the luckiest photographer!

I wanted to get a picture of him doing a fireman's carry...maybe at the wedding :)

I can't wait until your wedding and the chance to shoot with the fire truck again!

Jason and Hannah's Engagements

Jason and Hannah's Engagement session was a challenging session to say the least. We had 35 mph wind gusts and a very bright sun with little shade. It was the same day that there were 25 tornados that touched down in North Carolina. Despite all of that, I'm very happy with how the photos turned out! Jason and Hannah were definitely troopers. Thanks for putting up with all the elements thrown our way!

We started the shoot at Statesville high school's football stadium. You know, Jason was a football player and Hannah was a cheerleader :)

After the football stadium we headed over to Hannah's parents house for more pictures. This is also where they are getting married. Have I mentioned before that I LOVE outside weddings?

Her parents had beautiful flowers all around their house. I wish I could make my landscaping look this good!

Hello big beautiful brown eyes! Oh and by the way, I love her dress and earrings :)

Jason was a bit nervous about me putting this beautiful (expensive) ring into a hole of this bird house, but aren't ya glad I did? I am :)

And we couldn't do a photo session and leave out the cat!
