Wow has October been a crazy month! Its a mad rush of all things photography...weddings (done and done), bridal meetings (this weekend), engagement shoots (next two weekends) and I'm setting up a booth at a fall festival to take pictures of families (also this weekend). I have to say I'm loving every minute of it. Its hard for me not to dream of going photography full time when I have months likes these. All that spare time during the day would be awesome to use editing and getting ready for shoots (and building my business). Here is the first blog post of many to come with the contents of my October shoots.
I had been looking forward to this wedding all year. It was at the same vineyard, we took their
engagement pictures at so I knew it would be beautiful!
Before we start let me just say that at the wedding, Sarah's family and friends kept taking pictures of her and saying that she doesn't take a bad picture. SERIOUSLY, the girl doesn't take a bad picture! I don't have one single bad image of her.

Yahoo! My first bride to let me take her dress outside!! I was so excited for that and got this awesome picture. I told my photographer at my wedding that I wanted outside dress shots and I told him how hard it was to get the bride to okay it. He told me that he just does it and doesn't ask :P I'm not brave enough to do that.

Love, love, love mirror shots!

Mom, dad a bride just before walking down the aisle. Sarah, you are glowing in this picture!

My favorite shot of the day. There's starting to be a pattern, my favorite shots a lot of times seem to be the 'artsy' shots.

Yes, the sky was that blue...no enhancement necessary. Thanks Matt for this cool shot! He's getting really good being my second shooter! :)

We are at a vineyard, of course I have to get a grape shot. I also stole some grapes and stashed them in my bag for later. You'll see that shot in a bit :)

I love the sun poking through the trees and the look on Thad's face, ::melt!::

I love getting tons of photos of the bride and groom. If you are planning your wedding, plan extra time for these! You will thank yourself later.

The stolen grapes came in handy on my ring shot!

I love this one of the cupcakes :)

I'm loving these next to night shots :)

This is a close second favorite :)
